We are hiring a Healthcare Assistant to join Totara Disability Services in Hamilton.
About Totara Disability Services
Totara Disability Services is a family-owned aged care and community support business based in Hamilton. Founded in 2017, we run 1 location in the Waikato and employ a tight team that values doing the work well over scale.
About the role
You will support residents or clients with the essentials of daily life: personal care, mobility, meals, medication prompts and companionship, following each person's care plan and reporting changes to the nurse or coordinator. Shifts rotate across mornings, afternoons and some nights and weekends.
What you will bring
Kind, patient and reliable. NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or 3 is an asset and we will fund it if you do not have it. Pay follows the care and support worker pay equity settlement. A full driver licence for home support roles. Police vetting required.

- Full driver licence and reliable car for home support roles
- Satisfactory Police vetting and referee checks
- Comfortable with personal cares and manual handling training
